With plenty of muscle and authority, these pickups are amplified by a custom Ibanez Preamp, complete with selectable 3 way Midrange switch and a traditional passive bypass. The 5 piece Jatoba/walnut neck is extremely comfortable and perfectly supports the long 34” scale, giving this bass plenty of resonance and clarity without making it too neck heavy.
