Half the size, just as heavy. The Earthquaker Devices Sunn O))) Life Pedal V3 is a distortion pedal with the addition of an analog octave curcuit and a discrete booster. The "amplitude" section of the pedal is modeled after the popular "White Face" distortion pedal, using modern electrical components to stand the test of time. The pedal features an Op Amp curcuit and 2 additional clipping oprions. The pedal's Octave section is an analog full-wave rectifier base on a classic vintage design, this section sits at the input of the curcuit allowing you to blend in the octave effect before hitting the distortion, creating an aggressive fuzz effect. But wait, theres more! The octave blend can be controlled with an expression pedal, meaning you can create some fun swells with nothing but your feet. Sitting last in the chain is the "magnitude" section, a discrete MOSFET booster designed to hit your preamp tubes with some extra power! This effect does not add any distortion and very little colour to your tone, however it has the output to push your amp into saturation.
