The Cort GB-Fusion delivers a mixture of classic J-bass design and modern bass design sensibilities, all combined in a package that punches well above its price-range. The GB-Fusion features a very classic construction, a maple neck with a rosewood fretboard bolted onto an alder body, but featuring a spalted maple veneer finished in a transparent blue burst. This bass is equipped with passive Voiced Tone TB-ST pickups that Cort have designed to have all the warmth and punch of vintage jazz bass pickups but with the clarity that defines modern pickups, and they’ve been paired with a 3-band active EQ to ensure that whatever you want your bass to sound like you’ll be able to make it happen.
