The TAWANDA Signature Cajon is a laptop style cajon made by expert craftsman/percussionist Tawanda Gadzikwa and features a selection of unique Australia select hardwood timbers for the shell and a solid Birch top playing surface. All locally hand made, this laptop cajon is expertly carved and shaped, with seamless joints, smooth shell finish, rear sound hole port, internal bell and fixed snare wires. Played by hand, this drum produces remarkable deep low bass notes, clear cracking slap tones and a huge dynamic volume response. Play around with cupping your hand over the sound hole to produce a variety of unique tone and pitch variations reminiscent of an Udu drum or Tabla sound. These drums are all uniquely different and a great addition to your percussion collection. Mount on a snare stand or sit on your lap.
