Drawing on the Superstar of the past, its classic TAMA T-shape badge and streamlined low-mass single lugs point to the simpler state of art of the 70's, while the ingenious Star-Mount system and new thinner gauge 100% maple shells eclipse anything in its class. The Superstar Classic features 6 ply, 5mm maple shells on tom and snare drums, and an 8 ply, 7mm maple shell on the bass drum, offering the full, powerful character and rich resonance that you’d expect from a maple drum kit. This 4 piece configuration includes 12” and 14” toms, a 14”x5” snare drum, and an 18”x14” bass drum.
