Stone Deaf’s Kliptonite has taken an idea that we’re sure plenty of guitarists have pondered about before: What if I could combine both a Fuzz and an Overdrive together and mix them within the same pedal? What would that sound like? The Kliptonite is that answer. With full tonal control of both circuits at the same time, the Kliptonite also comes with an Expression input that allows further control using Stone Deaf’s EP-1, an expression pedal solely dedicated to their pedals like the Kliptonite. The Stacatto like tone of the fuzz sounds quite interesting and is unlike most fuzz pedals. This type of Fuzz does lack sustain, however makes up for it with a unique fuzz sound that is sure to blow some minds.
