The Descent RA model features an extended 26.75" scale length allowing you to get super low tunings without mushing up, preserving bite and string clarity to deliver thick and powerful riffs. The Railhammer Humcutter pickups are the perfect design for low tunings and feature rail coils on the low strings for a tight and focused bass response and massive steel polepieces for a bell like top end on the treble strings, allowing for complex chords to ring out with clarity. For added stability the roasted maple neck topped with a slab of Pau Ferro has been heat treated to stay rock solid in all climates but still retains the clear top end needed for note seperation.
