REMO's latest inclusion to their very popular Bass Drumhead range is the new Emperor SMT Clear Bass drumhead. This double ply head features a pre-muffled enhanced design (SMT) Sub Muffl Technology built into the construction of the drumhead but with easy external access to the free-floating foam ring. The 2-plies of 7-mil and 5-mil film provide a deep and powerful low punch full of attacking frequencies, yet can be tuned up to present controlled mid-tones. This broad tuning capability helps create the perfect balance of response and sensitivity, yet offers controlled ringing and deep low tones, making the new Emperor SMT clear bass drumheads a great choice for a bass drumhead that can produce everything.
