These Meinl Wind gongs (also known as Feng or Sun Gongs) are expertly hand crafted in China using traditional manufacturing and tuning methods, using specialized Bronze Alloy and finished with a hand polished metal. This Meinl Wind Gong is a 24 inch diameter gong and includes mallet and protective cover bag. Played softly, this gong produces low tones and deep harmonics, but played with more power, it will produce wide, rich and open wave like tones with slightly more traditional agressive attack. The Meinl Wind Gong is perfect for Yoga, Meditation and Deep relaxation, yet is equally at home in Orchestral, Band, Theatre or Rock music performances.
