The MEINL B19POC Byzance Traditional 21 Inch Polyphonic Ride is quite a unique ride, proviing the player with multiple zones with specific applications for each. Alongside others within the Polyphonic range, this ride features a larger raw bell, allowing for a distinct and cutting ping! The rawness of the bell gives an overall subtle dry touch to the cymbal, however it is far from overbearing. Along with being quite an articulate ride, the specific lathing process creates a noteable taper towards the edge of the cymbal. With the taper of the cymbal thinning out towards the edge, this ride allows a fast response when crashing into it, benefiting as a solid crash ride aswell! An incredibly versatile cymbal to add to your setup, one that will bring the sonic profile of your kit up a notch! Oxygen Music is proud to stock a wide range of MEINL products, including the MEINL Byzance Traditional 21 Inch Polyphonic Ride.
