The Martin D-12E has the entire look and feel of high quality guitar but at a more affordable price point. The gloss Spruce and Sapele back and sides in this all solid wood model are not only great sounding but extremely versatile, this timber combination in the dreadnought body offers a rich array of tones with plenty of volume and clarity. The D12-E works for plenty of styles and genres from finger picking, strumming and flat picking. The high performance neck taper is modern and comfortable that has such a nice feel it will keep you playing for hours. The updated Fishman MX-T electronics with built in sound hole tuner are a great addition to this guitar, with the discrete placement of the pickup it offers an excellent sound that really amplifies the guitar tone, the addition to the mute feature on the pickup is great for the gigging musician.
