The Gliga Vasile Superior violin is a superb instrument for the accomplished player - handcrafted in the Romanian Gliga workshops under the direct supervision of the award winning violin maker Mr Vasile Gliga. The Superior features a more advanced plate graduation, more attention to the scroll and, as well as a more refined finish all-round. Highly flamed, naturally aged tone woods from the Carpathian Mountains (suspected to be the same source of timber for the legendary Antonio Stradivari (1644-1737)) are the heart of these instruments. These Violins come with a professional setup with Opal Gold strings and a Wittner Ultralight tailpiece.
