The Genera HD Dry features 2 ply of 5mil and 7.5mil film with a internal 2mil overtone ring that float on the underside of the drumhead to eliminate excess overtones and ringing. Unique to the Evans Genera HD Dry, it also features small vent holes punched out around the edge to help further elimination of stray harmonics and help tighten the sound.
