The EVAN's Genera Dry coated drumhead is certainly one of the most widely used snare drum batter heads. Featuring 1 ply of 10mil film with a internal 2mil overtone ring that float on the underside of the drumhead to eliminate excess overtones and ringing. The Genera Dry versions also feature small vent holes punched out around the edge to help further elimination of stray harmonics and help tighten the sound.
