DE GREGORIO (DG) cajons are made in Spain with a long history of authentic and handmade craftmanship skills derived from years of experience and development of true Peruvian building methods and materials, including Eco-friendly woods and glues.The DG-Albatross cajon is designed and manufactured for the professional and for the player wanting high quality performance and tone. The body of the Albatros is made from 100% first-grade birch plywood, and features a thin 2mm, 4-ply birch front-plate for extra sensitivity (the same front-plate as our top-of-the-line Yaquí model), as well as a tunable snare-system with two steel-core strings. The DG Albatros is finished with a double coating of polyurethane satin lacquer and handmade by DG artisans in Spain.
