The new Yamaha P125 Digital Piano offers teachers, students and music schools amazing quality, performance, flexibility and sound and will ensure you are getting the best out of your performance every time.

The new Yamaha P125 portable digital piano has just arrived in store and we are confident it will be even more popular than the preceding P115 model which has been one of our biggest selling portable digital pianos for the last few years. Priced at under $1000, it’s affordable, packed full of useful functions whilst still being intuitive and easy to use for those who just want a great sounding digital piano.

The P125 has the advantage of being lightweight (under 12kg) and slim line – making it conveniently portable, whilst offering 88 fully weighted keys with a graded hammer action (heavier in the bass - lighter in the treble) to replicate an acoustic piano feel.

One of the features that schools and teachers often fine advantageous is AUX OUT [L/L+R][R] outputs, which can allow the piano to be easily amplified – making the P125 a versatile model that can easily move between practice rooms during lessons and larger performances. You also have USB to host connection making it easy to hook up to your computer, favourite music software programs and create and edit your own music. Two headphones outputs are also a useful addition for times when silent practice time is needed, or to be able to hear your practice better in a noisy environment with less distraction – the dual headphone connections allows for duet performance or a teacher and student to both be able to hear a practice session with their own set of headphones.

Most importantly, the P125 boasts a realistic piano sound created with Yamaha’s state of the art technology with the inclusion of Yamaha’s premium CFIIIS 9' concert grand piano sound. Improved 2-way speaker system produces an expansive piano sound in both upward and downward directions giving a rich sound field which feels more sitting at an acoustic piano than some other models offer.

Whilst many players will seek to just play the P125 as a “piano”, it does have 24 different instrument sounds to allow you to add some versatility and personal style to your playing, with a range of electric pianos, organs, strings and more – as well as the ability to layer two sounds such as piano and strings to create some beautiful and expressive arrangements.  It also has a range of 20 popular styles of drum and bass backing tracks which can add an extra dimension to performances or even just a steady drum beat for practicing.

Pair the P125 digital piano with a quality double braced X style stand or an adjustable table top style keyboard stand to give the flexibility to quickly adjust the height of piano and move the piano around your space as needed, or invest in the Yamaha furniture style stand (L125) and 3 pedal board (LP1) to make a more elegant and permanent piece in a room. We have all the keyboard stands, stools and other accessories available at Oxygen Music with competitive school and teacher pricing.
