Full Returns Policy
Change of Mind
We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind, order the wrong product, or no longer require the item.
Major Problems
You may choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem. A major problem includes when the item:
- Has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying it if they had known about it
- Is unsafe
- Is significantly different from the sample or description
- Does not do what we said it would do, or what you asked for, and cannot be easily fixed
You may also choose to keep the item and receive compensation for any reasonable repair costs or reduction in value, at our discretion.
Minor Problems
If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it cannot be repaired within a reasonable time, you may choose a refund or replacement.
In some cases, we may offer a store credit or upgrade to another product as an alternative solution.
Return Methods
Items may be returned via postage/shipping or in person. Please see the conditions of returns below for full details.
Gift Vouchers
- Lost gift vouchers will not be refunded, replaced, or credited
- Gift vouchers are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase
- Gift vouchers cannot be used for lay-by deposits, but may be used for final balance payments
- Gift vouchers must be presented at time of redemption
- Oxygen Music gift vouchers are physical paper vouchers, not digital or e-vouchers
Conditions of Returns
Returned items must meet the following conditions:
- The product is faulty, damaged, or incorrect
- The product does not perform to the manufacturer’s specifications
- Damage in transit must be reported immediately and photographed where possible
- Items must be returned within 7 days
- Items must include original packaging and all supplied accessories
- Items must be returned as new, free from scratches or marks
- A copy of the original receipt or proof of purchase must be included
- The store must be contacted before returning items, and within 24 hours of receiving damaged or faulty goods
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
- Items may be returned in person
- Returns will not be accepted for the following items unless faulty:
- Print music (copyright restrictions)
- Kazoos, tin whistles, recorders, harmonicas (hygiene reasons)
- Returns will not be accepted for change of mind or ordering the wrong product
- Faulty items may be returned to suppliers for warranty assessment in accordance with Australian Consumer Law
