LINE 6 Catalyst CX 60 Guitar Amplifier

The Line 6 Catalyst CX is an updated version of the original Catalyst, with a new, more striking look, and even more amps and effects than before, all created using the well renowned Helix effects processor. The Catalyst CX features 12 different amp voicings with sounds ranging from vintagey and clean to modern and high-gain, with a custom Boost matched to each voicing ensuring you have plenty of gain on-tap no matter what sound you choose. These amps also feature 24 effects spread between the categories of Reverb, Delay, Modulation, and Pitch, with the controls allowing you to use two at the same time and position them before or after the amp section and the ability to add an optional LFS2 footswitch for changing channels and toggling effects. If you need even more there's also an effects loop ensuring that you're able to get the best sound possible out of your normal pedals. The Catalyst features an extensive variety of ways to utilize it, from just using it as a normal combo amp with a switchable wattage (mute, 0.5w, half, and full), flicking the Power Amp In switch on the effects loop to run it as a powered speaker, using the XLR out to run directly into a mixing desk, or even plugging the amp into a computer with a USB cable to take advantage of the built-in 4-channel audio interface. The USB cable also allows you to use the Catalyst Edit app to go down the rabbit hole and really customise how you want your amp to sound.
